Thema
Digitalization is changing life and work in our societies.
In fact it has become part of our daily life and shapes more than we realize.
A holistic approach in ethical reflection and practical doing is necessary, taking into account economic, social and ecological aspects. This will be the overarching approach of the conference in Strasbourg.
Wellbeing in society and workplaces can be strengthened by digital progress, but it needs ethical and not only economic guidelines.
The debate will be led by theologians from both Protestant and Orthodox traditions, by specialists of digital companies, trade unions and regional administrations coming from all over Europe.
This will help to work towards better guidelines for a digitalization that contributes to the wellbeing of societies and workplaces.
Digitalization offers many opportunities of connecting people and organizations across Europe, a process which the European institutions , as well as companies and their interrelated work encourage.
Online participation – free.
